Begin the day with a visit to Juba University, established in 1975, followed by a stop at Jubek’s Tomb and a walk through Konyo Konyo market, a lively hub of local trade and culture. In the afternoon, embark on a journey to a Mundari camp, with travel time varying due to the nomadic nature of the Mundari people. Along the way, enjoy opportunities to photograph small villages before reaching the settlement, where the village chief will warmly welcome visitors. Observe herders returning with their livestock and preparing for the evening, as smoke rises to repel mosquitoes and creates an atmospheric setting. The day concludes with an immersive overnight camping experience among the Mundari people.
After breakfast, you'll drive to Terekeka, a small town about two hours from Mundari Camp, where you can visit the Terekeka Cultural Center to learn more about local traditions and explore the town’s markets to see local handicrafts. In the afternoon, you'll return to Juba, where you can either explore the city or relax at your hotel—Royal Palace Hotel or a similar accommodation.
